I needed to take off a few pounds so I tried the lemonade cleansing program on July 20th. Today is day 14 and I have to admit I feel really good considering I haven't eaten a thing for 13 days.
This really works for anyone needs to drop a few pounds and cleanse your body at the same time. I drink 6-8 glasses a day.

The Lemonade Diet

Purpose

  • To dissolve and eliminate toxins and congestion that have formed in any part of the body.
  • To cleanse the kidneys and the digestive system.
  • To purify the glands and cells throughout the entire body.
  • To eliminate all unusable waste and hardened material in the joints and muscles.
  • To relieve pressure and irritation in the nerves, arteries, and blood vessels.
  • To build a healthy blood stream.
  • To keep youth and elasticity regardless of our years.

When to Use It

  • When sickness has developed - for all acute and chronic conditions
  • When the digestive system needs a rest and a cleansing.
  • When overweight has become a problem.
  • When better assimilation and building of body tissue is needed.

How Long and Often?

Follow the diet for a minimum of 10 days or more - up to 40 days and beyond may be safely followed for
extremely serious cases. The diet has all the nutrition needed during this time. Three to four times a year will
do wonders for keeping the body in a normal healthy condition. The diet may be undertaken more frequently
for serious conditions.


How to Make Lemonade

  • 2 Tbsp lemon or lime juice (approx. 1/2 lemon)
  • 2 Tbsp genuine maple syrup (not maple flavored sugar syrup)
  • 1/10 Tsp cayenne pepper (red pepper) or to taste
  • Water, medium hot (spring or purified water)

You're suppose to do the salt water flush in the mornings, that can be BRUTAL. rough getting that shit down

If you are trying to lose weight, you are suppose to eat often(like every 3 hours). How about just eat healthy and exercise? It is the most natural way to lose weight. All these drinks and shit are not as healthy as they make it seem. You're not getting any green veggies from Lemonade.

actually I did a lot a reading on this cleansing and all seem to say the same thing ... that you get all the nutrients you need from the ingredients. Remember its main purpose is cleansing the body. People don't want to lose weight just use more maple syrup and do it a couple times a year. It does make you feel better in a weird kind of way. Some describe it as being on a fast but doing it healthy.

I agree with your comment though. Eating several small meals and exercise . I do swim 2X a day. This is just a way to get a jump start and then I will do the smaller portion several times a day thing for sure.

With this kind of diet isn't it easy to gain the weight back quickly? I'm sure a lot of your weight loss is water weight. What is your plan to keep it off and continue to loss more.

I also needed to lose a lot of weight and from Jan to April I lost a total of 30 lbs. I have maintained my weight @ 224-227 right now. I did not excercise at all during my diet and I basically cut my carbs down a lot. Drank water with cut up lemons in it and watched my portions for my meals. I was at least losing 1-3 lbs a week. One thing I eliminated was Fast food and going out to a restaurant. I also added lots of salads and fish to my diet.

It is a good way to shed those few lbs everyone needs. I know there are no short cuts in life. Exercise and healthier eating are the best way. I ended it on Saturday and lost 22 lbs all together. Been going off the cleansing with OJ and had veggie soup last night and today. Tomorrow I can finally eat solid food again. Believe you me, this wasn't easy to do. I lasted 15 entire days on glasses of lemons, maple syrup and cayenne pepper in water. I notice a huge difference and so do others. Especially in my face. Just bending down to tie my shoelaces in so much easier now. My belly in almost gone. I can't believe I let it go that far. Obviously the stomach strunk and now my better eating habits and increased exercise routine will only continue to lose the addition lbs I want. Tomorrow is my day off, gonna buy a wok and go by the market and get lots of veggies and some meat. Small meals a few times during the day nothing larger than my first each time. Carbs to a min. Going to eat more Malaysian, Chinese and that type of food. They live a long time. I am pretty excited about it and have no doubt I will succeed. If I can go 15 days without eating I can pretty well do anything is how I figure. By Xmas the goal is to tone and lose fat , gain muscle through exercise and healthy eating. Wish me luck.

good luck Jimmy. You know that saying ... "there are 2 types of people ... those that eat to live and those that live to eat?" Well I am definitely in the latter. Your salads a fish are gonna be part of my life from now on. The thing is, I love that stuff anyways but the problem is I like everything else also. Ya the pizza and bacon cheeseburgers also. Now I seen the results and how much better I feel, I don't see me stopping this health kick.
